Short, because there isn't much to govern yet — a website and a mailing list.
This website at kemdoc.com is operated by Kemit Security
LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA (“we”,
“us”). By using the site you accept these terms.
Information about a product in development, and the ability to leave an email address so we can tell you when it's ready. That's the entire offer.
Nothing on this site is a binding commitment to build, launch, or price anything. The features described are what we intend to build. No prices are published because none are set. KemDoc may launch late, launch differently, or not launch at all.
Submit an email address and we'll use it to tell you about KemDoc's progress and availability. Leave at any time via the link in any message, or by writing to privacy@kemdoc.com. How we handle the address is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Please only submit an address that's yours. Being on the waitlist doesn't entitle you to access or to a particular price; if we offer waitlist members something specific, we'll say so at the time.
This is the clause worth actually reading. KemDoc is a tool for signing and storing documents. Nothing we publish is legal advice, and we do not warrant that a signature captured through KemDoc will be valid or enforceable for your document type in your jurisdiction.
Electronic signature law varies by country and by instrument, and certain documents — wills and some property transfers among them — frequently cannot be executed electronically at all. Deciding whether an electronic signature is appropriate for a given document is your responsibility, and a lawyer's job, not ours.
Don't:
Security research is welcome — coordinate first at legal@kemdoc.com, and give us a reasonable chance to fix what you find before publishing it. Use of the service itself is governed by the Acceptable Use & Abuse Policy.
The text, design, logo and name KemDoc belong to Kemit Security LLC. You may quote or link to the site — including critically — but don't reproduce it wholesale or use the branding in a way that implies we endorse you.
Third-party names used to describe or compare belong to their respective owners. No affiliation is implied in either direction.
The site is provided “as is”. We try to keep it accurate and available, but we don't warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that anything described on it will come to exist. To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kemit Security LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of this website, or for any decision made in reliance on a product that has not launched. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer somewhere granting you additional statutory rights — the EU, the UK, or California for example — this clause doesn't remove them.
